First, all ENB effects are disabled and all lights (DL, AL, PL, Fire, Lightsprite, Object, Fog, etc.) are set to 0.0. These are not the effect meshes from the particle patch - I believe they are the meshes from Embers HD. If you are using weather or lighting mods, I would install it. It'll decrease the brightness of a lot of particle effects so you won't have bright waterfalls at night, for instance. I spoke with mindflux about this, he says it's safe and recommended.
